Hodges was booked into jail Thursday, January 19, and the Knights defensive back was still there tonight, according to the Orange County inmate database.

But now, Hodges’ UCF football career appears over — after playing in all 14 games in the 2022 season, having 40 tackles, and starting in the final 10 games of the 2021 season as a sophomore cornerback finishing second on the team with seven pass breakups. According to the Orlando Sentinel, a UCF athletics spokesperson confirmed Hodges has been dismissed from the football team and per university policy, a UCF student conduct process will be initiated.

According to police records first summarized by the Orlando Sentinel, the home invasion robbery involved three males with guns — and Hodges threatening to shoot another in the head when demanding the return of his jacket. As of last check, the search for the two other suspects is ongoing.
