Kimdotcom loses Call of Duty Spot

UBIDUGO is an auction site that allows users to bid for trips. When a user doesn’t win an auction their bids are converted into travel points which go to buying the trips they bid on. In order to get bids users have to buy packages.

The site explains how the bidding process works: “Bids are purchased by you prior to bidding. Bids can be purchased individually or in bundles at prices that will be noted on the site. Each Bid provides you the right to place one bid on an auction item consisting of a travel experience, but the cost of the Bid is not applied to the final price paid for the auction item purchased. Payment for Bids can be made by credit card debit card or via PayPal.”

When asked about how he came up with the idea Weisselberger said, “One day I decided to create a system fair to the consumer where every single bidder was a winner. That’s how UBIDUGO came about, a new type of penny auction dedicated only to travel industry.”

The website launched on November 25 this year.

The "for lease" sign was added after the "reopening soon" sign.

The recent addition of the “for lease” sign, however, raises big questions as to whether El Corral will in fact be opening soon.

KnightNews.com did a check of health inspection records of El Corral, and records show El Corral “met inspection standards” on Sept. 9, 2011 for health code. KnightNews.com is working to find out if the restaurant had any past violations.

Athia Choudhury says her miserable experience was spawned after Southwest targeted her for her large size at the gate, forced her to buy two seats to sit in — when she insisted she only needed one — and then forced her to sell back her extra seat once on the plane when another passenger needed it.

Choudhury was outraged because she said that Southwest first insisted she needed two seats for her “safety and comfort” — even though they didn’t have a problem letting her fly in one seat on her first flight, and eventually let her fly with one seat on her way home.

Southwest apologized because its policy wasn’t properly implemented in this case and gave her a voucher, but in her video Choudhury said she’d never fly the airline again. Southwest also defends its policy on its website.

“We could no longer ignore complaints from customers who traveled without full access to their seat due to encroachment by a large seatmate whose body extended into the neighboring seat,” the airline website states. “These customers had uncomfortable (and sometimes painful) travel experiences, and it is our responsibility to seek resolution to prevent this problem.”

The airline points out that its controversial policy has been upheld in court and by the US DOT.
