Video: George Zimmerman Speaks at Bond Hearing

George Zimmerman just spoke at a hearing being held in Sanford, Fla. Friday where he was granted a $150,000 bond, after being charged with Trayvon Martin’s murder.

The judge ordered Zimmerman may not consume alcohol, have firearms, and must follow a strict curfew. Zimmerman must also keep law enforcement updated on his whereabouts.

$180 USF Textbook ‘Riddled’ With Errors

UCF’s neighbor to the west, the University of South Florida, is in the spotlight today for embarassing mistakes uncovered in the university’s pricey textbooks.

According to WFTS ABC in Tampa, an I-Team investigation has uncovered “some textbooks sold at USF are full of errors.”

The prime offender was “The Joy of Statistics,” and a USF junior told the station it cost him about $180.

Tonight, Greeks Strolled for a Cause as part of Greek Week 2012.

Benefiting The Juvenile Diabetes Research Association, Greek teams sang and performed to raise money and promote awareness of juvenile diabetes.

FAU Student Attacks Faculty; Video of Violent Outburst in Class

Recently, an FAU student was caught on camera attacking students and faculty in class after a simple lecture on evolution turned ugly.

The student is heard threatening the life of the professor and the rest of the class. According to FAU’s paper, University Press, an FAU technician finally told the female student to get out. The student, which the FAU paper identified as Jonatha Carr, proceeded to attack the faculty member and other students.

John Goodman Trial Update: Jurors See Bentley, Hyundai Wrecked Vehicles

The jurors in the John Goodman DUI manslaughter case got to see the mangled vehicles today at the Palm Beach County Courthouse.

KnightNews.com has been following the case since the Palm Beach billionaire was first accused of plowing his Bentley into UCF Grad Scott Patrick Wilson’s Hyundai two years ago, then walking away from the scene and leaving him to die in a South Florida canal. Goodman denies he was drunk, but prosecutors say otherwise.
