SGA announces students can vote for a new football intro song right now on SGA Website.
SGA says, “we still have the opportunity to build these traditions”, and they will take that opportunity. Until November 1st, students can sign on to SGA Website to listen to 12 songs and vote for their favorite.
The 12 songs that students have to choose from are:
> “Summer Overture” by Clint Mansell
> “O Fortuna” by Carl Orff
> “Welcome Home” by Coheed and Cambria
> “Down With the Sickness” by Disturbed
> “Burn it to the Ground” by Nickelback
> “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes
> “Chop Suey” by System of a Down
> “Blind” by Korn
> “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” by the Dropkick Murphys
> “The State of Massachusetts” by the Dropkick Murphys
> “Killing in the Name Of” by Rage Against the Machine
> “Sleep Now in the Fire” by Rage Against the Machine
The winning song will be played for the first time at the Homecoming game against Houston on November 14. There will also be tables set up in front of the Rec and Wellness Center and the Student Union to allow students to vote.
