Bowl Bound: Students Hope For Another Shot at USF

The University of Central Florida football team has been extended an invitation to play in the upcoming St. Petersburg Bowl on December 19.

Sources close to the St. Petersburg Bowl confirmed the Knights will formally accept the invitation during a 2 p.m. news conference at Bright House Networks Stadium.

It is possible USF will be the Knights’ opponent.

A majority of UCF students are looking forward to a possible rematch against the USF Bulls, who removed the Knights from their schedule this year because they felt the Knights weren’t good enough.

The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 19. For Seniors who are graduating Saturday morning, there will be ample time to get to the game.
