Early this morning, at around 6 a.m., yet another earthquake has hit Haiti.

This 6.1 earthquake is the largest of the aftershocks that have hit the area. It is said to have been about 35 miles from where the first, devastating earthquake hit. The tremors sent refugees, still reeling from the January 12th quake, fleeing for the streets to get to open ground.

Along with the Haitians, U.S. soldiers and others offering aid to the victims felt the fear that is brought on by such an earthquake. Aside from the visible destruction (more rubble falling from surrounding buildings and homes) we have not heard an injury or death-count yet. Hopefully this earthquake is not nearly as destructive as the first.
