When you think of your Friday night, does a $1 Dvd and a pack of Coors light sound all too familiar?

Or, maybe a $10 cover charge downtown before even drinking?

Well, pocket that cash and get ready to change it up a little this weekend! Grab your friends and head out to Leu Gardens for their monthly ‘Date Night at Leu Gardens’ for a breath of fresh air. Only a short drive from UCF is one of Orlando’s best kept secrets- spanning nearly 50 acres of scenic lakeside property,

Leu Gardens opens up their gates once a month for an outdoor movie screening. This month’s movie is the 2002 science fiction thriller “Signs.” The event attracts all kinds of crowds, couples can be seen relaxing with elaborate picnic baskets of wine and cheese, while groups of friends can be viewed boisterously chomping on Subway.

But, no matter which side of the fence you end up on, make sure to grab your lawn chairs and coolers and head out this Friday night to enjoy the beautiful botanical gardens in their rare night form. Gardens open at 6:00pm, with the movie starting at 8:30pm.
