Fist pumping, head banging, sweaty mayhem, and disorder sum up the Indie-Electro-Dance-House-Dubstep scene at Riot Wednesdays.

Located in Dungeon Lounge every Wednesday, Riot provides an exciting downtown atmosphere, and a change from other local bars. Priding itself on good music, and an even better time, Riot has quickly become a hot spot to be on Wednesdays.

Seeing the need for an electronic night in the UCF area, DJs NYMZ, Henry Fong, and Zach Kush decided to create a night at one of the most popular local bars solely dedicated to good music and proper raging.

Riot’s success is evident in the growing number of people coming out on Wednesdays, with good nights averaging 300 to 400 people filling the Dungeon Lounge to its capacity. Fans of Riot have come to enjoy not only the music, but artsy photographs taken by iLex throughout the night, and later posted on Riot’s fan page on Facebook.

In addition to the stimulating environment provided by Riot, a two for one cover deal allows guests to have the option of skipping right next door to Knight Library for a more relaxed atmosphere.

Music, dancing, and growing support; Riot Wednesdays is the new definition of raging.
