1) UCF student favorite, Anberlin had their brand new album, Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place, jump to number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart this week. Congrats guys!

2) Weezer officially announced their new winter tour at which they will be playing their entire first two albums. This tour will probably start in November or December.

3) A Day To Remember promised fans they’ll be making a “special announcement” on their live video chat on September 20th. Hmmm…. A new album, perhaps?

4) 30 Seconds to Mars will be releasing a deluxe edition of their latest record This Is War including Kanye West and Lady Gaga cover songs on November 2nd.

5) Good Charlotte’s much anticipated new album Cardiology also drops November 2nd.

6) Everyone’s favorite Blink 182 is going to start recording their new album next week. Yay!

7) Blink’s very own Mark Hoppus is also hosting a brand new show all about bands called “A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus” Thursdays at 7pm on Fuse.

8 ) Remember how Eminem couldn’t accept his moonmen at the VMAs because he had to fly to New York City? Well that was to play a show with Jay-Z at Yankee Stadium this past Monday. Guest stars at the concert included Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Nicki Minaj, and Coldplay’s Chris Martin. What a lineup!

9) Lil’ Wayne just released a crazy and colorful new music video for the title track for his upcoming project “I Am Not a Human Being.” Free Weezy!

10) And last but most certainly not least, Will.i.am is set to make a guest appearance on ‘Sesame Street’ on September 27th. Weird.
