Coming from a close win against Miami (Oh), the UCF women’s tennis team lost to No. 36 Florida State in a decisive 6-1 battle at the UCF Tennis Complex, bringing UCF to a 5-4 overall record for the year.
In doubles play, Taylor Dubins and Andrea Yacaman of UCF fought off Manon Veldman and Federica Suess of FSU with a 8-4 win, but the rest of The Knights’ fell to FAU in the same fashion.

In singles play, Allison Hodges of UCF took down Manon Veldman of FSU 6-0, 6-3, while the rest of the team was unable to overpower FSU.
The next game for The Knights’ is against Marquette at home on March 16th at 2 p.m.
