Found between Gainesville and Tallahassee is a flowing river, an enchanted forest and the campgrounds for the greatest jam-band music festivals in the state: The Spirit of the Suwannee.
Beginning the evening of April 13 and lasting through the weekend, Wanee Music Festival returns to Live Oak for four nights of camping, art, new friendships and of course, music, music and more music. Starting at 10:30am each day and playing until 2am the next, music from the legendary Allman Brothers Band, Widespread Panic, Steve Miller Band and Robert Plant &The Band of Joy’s tunes will prevail throughout the Suwannee campgrounds, along with dozens of equally great supporting acts including but not limited to: Taj Mahal, Mike Gordon of Phish, Toubab Krewe, Rusted Root, The New Deal and Big Gigantic.
