Joe Hornstein, the UCF associate athletic director, was arrested on campus for a DUI charge by UCF police early Friday morning after attending the Katy Perry concert at the UCF arena, according to a police report.

According to the report, Hornstein appeared to have trouble with a field sobriety test before taking two tests at the Orange County DUI Testing Center which showed he had a BAC of .137 and .130.

The legal blood alcohol level for driving is .08.

When KnightNews.com asked if there will be any disciplinary action, UCF spokesman Grant Heston said, “The university is aware of what took place. We will take the appropriate action at the appropriate time.”

Hornstein reportedly apologized for the incident.
