FAU Student Attacks Faculty; Video of Violent Outburst in Class
Beyond UCF, Crime, News, Videos — By Jacob Sadowsky on March 21, 2012 at 9:54 am TweetRecently, an FAU student was caught on camera attacking students and faculty in class after a simple lecture on evolution turned ugly.
The student is heard threatening the life of the professor and the rest of the class. According to FAU’s paper, University Press, an FAU technician finally told the female student to get out. The student, which the FAU paper identified as Jonatha Carr, proceeded to attack the faculty member and other students.
For the full story, check out the FAU paper’s article.

I guess she’s not getting a refund on her tuition and fees. : )
I too am a parent of an FAU student and this disturbs me greatly. There needs to be an investigation as to who she was associated with to see if this danger is larger than just her. I wrote a letter to the President and Chairman but have gotten no reply.
This demonstrates a racial divide and bias. If a white person ranted similar hate speech, it would be all over the news. Instead it is swept away and not addressed as it should be. Does that help or hurt in the big picture? Wrong is wrong regardless of the race or religion.
And so it begins. The unhinging of America. Kruschev said it would only take one generation.
Omg to see this happening at this school that is ridiculous..what if she had a gun these poor kids were in danger.. Wow
It is very dangerous to ignore this horrifying event. As a parent of an FAU student, my heart stops every few months when I receive phone call, texts and emails when FAU tests its emergency system. But what good is this network if it isn’t activated even when something this serious happens? Nothing was done to prevent others from entering into this potentially dangerous environment and nothing is being done to prevent this student from returning to act out her rage. Security at FAU has a very bad reputation….and apparently, it’s well deserved.
