Shooting Near UCF Leaves One Dead

Officials say Brandon Benjamin, 24, was fatally shot while leaving a party at the apartment complex around 2am Saturday. He was transported to Florida Hospital East where he later died of his injuries. Deputies say an altercation broke out after a party leading to gunfire.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating and are looking for an older-model light colored full-sized pickup truck, possibly a Dodge Ram.
KnightNews.com has learned the victim was a student at Full Sail University.
