Coming to Orlando on November 17, 2012, the Orlando Zombie 5k is a 3.1-mile obstacle course that features zombies, mud, water and possibly blood as well as booby traps and other weird and wonderful impediments to a prospective runner.
There are 12 man-made and natural obstacles that this course boasts that are sure to bring the faint-hearted to their knees if they proceed to fall behind.
The first of its kind, the 3-mile race runs about $82 dollars if one were to sign up between October 4th-October 29 by 11:59P.M.
A portion of the proceeds of this race are given to the local American Red Cross chapter.
Participants must be at least 14 years of age to compete. Currently, the race is 80% full so those who wish to participate should sign up immediately. The race is located at Revolution Off Road, 4000 State Road 33, Clermont, Florida, 34714.
