It’s official that UCF will take on Ball State in the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl the day after UCF lost to Tulsa in the Conference USA championship.
The Beef ‘O’ Brady’s bowl will take place in St.Petersburg at Tropicana Field on Dec.21 at 7:30p.m.
George O’Leary told UCF athletics, “We are very pleased with the opportunity to go to the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl and the chance to play Ball State who has a 9-3 record.”
Ball State, at 9-3, have had quite a successful season with their only losses coming to Clemson, Northern Illinois, and Kent State, all who have been previously ranked or heading to a BCS bowl this season.
The Knights, standing at 9-4 after Saturday, will be making their second appearance in the Beef O’Brady’s bowl, with the last loss coming to Rutgers in 2009 45-24.
To order tickets to the Beef O’Brady’s Bowl call the UCF Ticket Office at (407) UCF-1000 or visit UCFAthletics.com for all of the details.
“We’re looking forward to the competition as well as the festivities in St. Petersburg.” O’Leary told UCF Athletics.
