On top of the tour inside the new Transformers ride at Universal Studios Orlando, our crew was able to experience the Blue Man Group show — including an all new portion of the show, exclusive only to Orlando.

Blue Man Group
For those who have never seen the show, it can be difficult to describe the nature of the performances, however, it is definitely a show like no other. From obscure sounding instruments played live for the audience, to the highly interactive nature of the performances, the Blue Man Group show is a fantastic mix between rock music, theater, science and society!

The show features three “Blue Men,” who perform a variety of musical feats, including paint drumming (seen above), which allows the audience to actually see the sound, instead of just hearing it. The trio also perform a variety of skits that involve unsuspecting members of the audience who become part of the show!

From marshmallow tossing, to painting with people’s body, to GiPads and more, the show has a quirky, yet highly comical nature that pleased the entire audience, including our crew.

The show ends with a one of a kind dance party that brings the entire theater audience to its feet — and shaking their booty’s! (No, really, the song uses over 65 versions of the word butt!) And, what a better finale to the show than having massive air balloons crowd surf over the audience as rolls of toilet paper and mountains of confetti pour over the crowd.
