The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Northeastern Orange County and Northwestern Brevard County until 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
Meteorologists for the National Weather Service detected a storm capable of winds in excess of 58 mph. Heavy rain and severe lightning is also expected.
In the event of heavy rain and excessive lightning, seek shelter immediately in the nearest building on the lowest floor.
