Something happened in Downtown Orlando this morning — the question is, what was it?

A gigantic transformer ‘crashed’ through the Fairwinds Credit Union Tower in downtown Orlando causing buzz across the area.

The new display is likely the result of an advertising campaign for Universal Orlando’s new Transformers ride, which opens this summer.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, crushed cars in front of the tower were also staged as part of the display.

According to Universal Orlando’s Twitter page, the grand opening date for TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D will be announced Thursday.
