The newest edition to housing around UCF has started leasing, and KnightNews.com got an exclusive look at the model units and planned amenities for the space.
Plaza on University, located at the corner of University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail, has 63,000 square feet of commercial space, and will be introducing more than 1,300 new luxurious and designer furnished beds into the market. Some of the top amenities include a two-story, state of the art fitness center, as well as two resort style swimming pools. Interior amenities include fully furnished rooms, utilities (up to a cap), cable and high speed Internet, water, sewer, trash and more.
While Plaza on University has not yet announced the specific retailers for the lower level spaces, Mark Zikra, senior corporate specialist for leasing and marketing, said that they will be great for students and the community.
“The location is prime for students,” Zikra said. “We’ve got the commercial space at the ground floor, which is really going to open up a lot of opportunities for growth in the area, as well as social life for the students.”
Each apartment comes fully furnished and includes leather-style furniture, granite kitchen counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Plaza on University will also sport a yoga room, three tanning beds, a computer center, an iPad Bar and more.
Plaza on University is expected to be completed by Fall 2014. Continue to check back for updates, including information on retailers and vendors who will be moving into the building.
