KnightNews.com has just obtained the Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment numbers from Fall 2012 and Fall 2013 recruitment from the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
According to OFSL’s information, Alpha Epsilon Phi had the most amount of new members and total members this year. They recruited 21 more women than last year’s recruitment.
Chi Omega, which boasts a brand new house in Greek Park, ranks second with 177 total women. Their new member count increased from last year as well.
Gamma Phi Beta, a new sorority to the Panhellenic community, recruited the least amount of women. Gamma Phi Beta participated in only the first two days of formal recruitment and then removed itself from the recruitment week process, so that they could participate in their own 2-3 week recruitment once classes started.
The Panhellenic community now boasts a 1,280 initiated members and 664 new members for a total of 1,994 women.
