It was a smooth flight from Orlando to Phoenix, but things weren’t so when UCF officials and players looked for their bags after getting off the flight.
According to AZCentral.com, UCF President Hitt and approximately 30 others traveling with UCF had their baggage accidentally left on the on the plane after arriving at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The plane flew back to Tampa, Fla. after dropping off the UCF group and it wasn’t until Friday afternoon that the bags made it back to Phoenix.

“I was one of the lucky chosen ones…we went to CVS (pharmacy) to get us some personal items,” Storm Johnson told AZCentral.com.
Fiesta Bowl officials gave the players shorts and toiletries to hold them over while waiting for their luggage to come in.
