UCF police are investigating multiple reports of a flasher on the UCF main campus.
KnightNews.com spoke to the student who first reported the man to UCF.
According to the student, she was walking in the Hercules parking lot to her dorm when a man pulled up next to her in his car to ask for directions. The student said the man was being “sketchy” and was making her feel uncomfortable.
When she looked down, she realized the man wasn’t wearing any pants and was naked from the waist down.
UCF Emergency Management said it has received multiple other reports in the time since this initial report. An alert message sent out to students notified them of a flasher on campus.
“The suspect is a white male in his late 20s with short black hair, scruffy facial hair and square framed glasses. He was last seen in a silver Toyota 4-door sedan wearing a black shirt and no pants. He is approaching females on campus in his vehicle and is trying to lure them into his vehicle. When the females get close to the vehicle he flashes them.”
In a second reported incident, a student was walking to her car late Friday afternoon in one of the parking lots adjacent to the Health and Public Affairs buildings. The man stopped in his car to ask her to come over here, and then, when she got closer to the vehicle, he asked her where Lake Claire was. She noticed he wasn’t wearing pants and walked away. He then told her to get in his car. She kept walking, and he drove away.
Report any suspicious activity to the UCF Police Department at 407-823-5555.
