Fans of science fiction, fantasy, comic books and more can rejoice! MegaCon 2014 begins this today.
The multi-genre convention, held every year in Orlando, Florida features actors from some of the most beloved TV shows currently on air along with a few of the biggest names in the comic book industry today.
This year, MegaCon has David Morrissey, Emily Kinney, and Steven Yeun from television’s The Walking dead along with Wil Wheaton from Star Trek: The Next Generation, John Barrowman from Torchwood and many more.
From the comic book industry, guests will have the chance to meet David Finch, who is currently providing the artwork for the Forever Evil miniseries, set to wrap up next month, as well as Mark Waid, the acclaimed writer of Kingdom Come, Superman: Birthright, and Daredevil, since 2011. While many other esteemed representatives of the comic book industry will be in attendance, this year’s guest of honor will be Stan Lee who has created many of the most beloved characters in his industry.
MegaCon runs from March 21 through March 23. Tickets may be purchased at the event on the day of attendance. A one day wristband will cost $30 while entrance for all three will cost $70. More information can be found on the conventions website, http://megaconvention.com/
