I remember meeting them at the conference. It’s entirely up to you, but if you think that you will not be comfortable, then you may want to either cancel or, if you keep the meeting, tread carefully. I recall that even in casual conversation with us, they (especially their GC) were trying to push us for definite and specific responses on topics where we preferred to remain general.

Youndy,

In a conversation with the National office president I stated I was willing to meet with their national officers when they were in town (generally, not related to their current conduct case). Yesterday, an officer of the chapter contacted Cheryll Kinlaw, my Admin Asst., and set up a mtg for this morning (10:45a) and mentioned they would be bringing along their General Counsel (Beth Stathos) whom you met at the NASPA presentation. Do you have a thought on whether I should take the meeting? I certainly wouldn’t discuss the current case but not sure this is the time for relationship building involving GC.
