A video has surfaced online showing the beheading of what appears to be former UCF student Steven Sotloff AP news reports.
Sotloff was a journalism student at UCF where he started his career in photography and writing.
ISIS terrorists released a video Aug. 19, which showed the beheading of American journalist James Foley. The terrorists said Sotloff would be next.
Sotloff’s mother released a video broadcast on Aug. 23 on Al Arabiya Network directed towards ISIS militants pleading for them to “release her child.”
Sotloff was kidnapped near the Syrian-Turkish border in August 2013, he had previously freelanced for TIME and the National Interest.
