Coming down to the final votes, Republican Rick Scott managed to hang on to win the race to be re-elected as Florida’s governor, defeating Charlie Crist, according to AP.
Florida’s medical marijuana amendment was also rejected after failing to get the 60 percent of votes necessary to pass.
