The anticipation is almost over. Stagger Inn UCF will officially open its doors next week.
The new country-themed bar, located next to the CB&S Bookstore on the corner of University Blvd. and Alafaya Trail, will give UCF students a new local option when looking to hit the town.
Knight News spoke to Stagger Inn UCF, and they said they plan on opening their doors next Monday but a final inspection might delay that an extra day or so.
Stagger Inn UCF, marketed by City2Nite, is a country-themed bar that might sound familiar. It is the sister bar of the Stagger Inn located in downtown Orlando.
Josiah Tripp, marketing manager for Stagger Inn thinks that this bar is just what the nightlife scene around UCF needs.
“UCF has some great bars but what it is missing is a country bar,” Tripp said.
For those who aren’t entirely sold on the country scene, he stresses it’s not specifically catered to the cowboys and cowgirls of UCF.
“The Stagger brand isn’t just a country bar. The crowd is very diverse and there is something for everyone there. It’s exactly what UCF is missing,” Tripp said.
