Academy Award winning film Frozen has swept the hearts of people worldwide since it first came out in Fall 2013. From its charming music, including the hit “Let It Go”, to its wonderful characters like Olaf and the beautiful animation, it has brought a new wave of Disney fans.

Last Fall, Disney World announced plans on opening a Frozen attraction in Epcot and now they have shared a first look on “Frozen Ever After” which is set to open in 2016.

The ride will be featured in the Norway section of Epcot’s World Showcase in Walt Disney World replacing Maelstrom which closed on October 5, 2014.

According to Disney Parks Blog, Disney’s official park blog, the ride will takes guests through the kingdom of Arendelle as guests are transported into the Winter in Summer celebration where Queen Elsa embraces her magical powers to create a snow day for the entire kingdom. It also takes guests to Elsa’s Ice palace and the North Mountain along with other locations before returning back to the Bay of Arendelle.

The ride will feature favorite moments and music from the film as well as favorite “Frozen” characters!

“The Norway Pavilion’s exterior will be expanded with many unique Norwegian architectural features and the interior design of the “Royal Sommerhus” will reflect the cultural arts and crafts of Norway, providing a charming setting for guests to meet Elsa and Anna,” according to Disney Parks blog.
