Two florida football teams battled it out in the trenches on Sunday in Jacksonville and the game came down to the wire.
Jaguar’s kicker Jason Myers hit three field goals during the game, one of them from 28 yards out in the final minute over the game to put the Jacksonville up 23-20 with 40 seconds left. Myers also hit a booming 58 yard field goal with 18 seconds left in the first half.
The Jaguars had lost 10 straight games in the month of September going into Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
UCF Football alum Blake Bortles threw for 273 yards and 2 touchdowns. 155 of those yards and both touchdowns were thrown to Jacksonville’s Allen Robinson.
In the press conference when asked what he was going to do after the game, Bortles said he was going to “probably watch some tv” and “drink a couple beers.”
The Jacksonville Jaguars have one of their tougher games of the season next week against the Patriots in New England.
