Some University of Central Florida students are spreading Christmas cheer with Mariah Carey, jolly dance moves and a video that is making its way through the internet.
The video of the Knights lip-syncing to All I Want for Christmas Is You picked up over 19,000 views on YouTube since it was posted on Dec. 4.
Total Sorority Move also picked up the lip sync and titled it “Some Hot Guys From UCF Created The Best Christmas Lip Dub Of. All. Time.”
“We honestly just wanted to make a fun Christmas video, for something to look back at when we have kids one day & be like ‘hey look your dad was cool,'” UCF junior Joshua Gicker said.
Gicker said the friends did not think the video would end up getting as much exposure.
The seven gentlemen met through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Four of them are UCF cheerleaders and one is a senior former baseball player at UCF.
“We’re all single so maybe before [it’s] all over we could meet our future wives through this,” Gicker added.
