Multiple sources are now reporting that in the wake of the wild Dino Babers speculation, Oregon Offensive Coordinator Scott Frost has accepted the UCF head coaching position.
Brandon Helwig of UCFSports.com and Ryan Bass of CBS both reported confirmation on the hire early this morning.
Confirmed via multiple sources, both inside and outside UCF: Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost will be UCF's next head coach.

Frost has recently been linked to the Syracuse job as well, but reports from across the national media are reporting him as the replacement to George O’Leary.
At only 40 years old Frost is considered to be one of the top offensive minds in the nation, having coached the up-tempo Oregon Ducks offense as offensive coordinator since 2013 and as a position coach since 2009. The Ducks have finished with the No. 2, No. 3, and No. 6 total offenses in the nation during his tenure as offensive coordinator.
He has no head coaching experience coming into the UCF job, but was a member of two national championship teams in 1995 and 1997 as a quarterback for Nebraska. Frost did however, play under legendary coaches Bill Walsh, Tom Osborne, Bill Parcells and Jon Gruden as a quarterback in college and in six NFL seasons.
UCF is expected to confirm the announcement Tuesday afternoon.
