Around 3,000 students at the University of Central Florida gathered around the Refection Pond for the 21st annual Spirit Splash Friday, Oct. 14, 2016.
Voted as the No. 1 tradition in the nation, students rushed the pond in hopes of catching one of the limited edition rubber ducks sporting this year’s Homecoming logo.
Festivities will continue as a fireworks show is scheduled for Friday night at 9 p.m. UCF’s Homecoming Football game and 2016 Homecoming king and queen announcement will take place Saturday evening. Ending the week will be a Kidz Carnival on Sunday afternoon.
