Many fans of the University of Central Florida football program believe that the Knights have been ignored by many in the college football community.
Currently the undefeated UCF Knights are ranked number 11 in the College Football Playoffs and many fans think the 2017 Co-National Champs should be ranked higher.
During today’s College GameDay press conference, Knight News’ Eddie Messel asked the GameDay guys their thoughts on expanding the College Football Playoffs from four teams to eight. This change would possibly put the Knights in the College Football playoffs.
ESPN’s Lee Corso told Knight News he does not support expanding the playoffs to eight teams because the outrage is good for college football.
“Im a great fan of the four team playoffs exactly as it is right now, Corso said. ” Because it adds controversy and brings attention to college football.
However, Corso’s co-host, Rece Davis, told Knight News that he believes the playoff system will change one day, but not anytime soon.
“The day will come,” Davis said.
