Former Auburn linebacker DeShaun Davis is rejoining Gus Malzahn on UCF coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach in first college coaching job.

Davis played at Auburn for five seasons (2014-2018) under UCF head coach Gus Malzahn who saw Davis become one of the best defensive players in the SEC. 

Davis was named to the All-SEC Team during his Senior Season in 2018, where he amounted 116 tackles (57 solo) 3.5 sacks and four passes broken up. Davis produced 266 tackles during his four years playing for Auburn, including 261 over his last three years as a starter.
