The UCF Football team has released looks at the new Uniform designs for the 2022 campaign and next year’s first season in the Big 12 Conference.

UCF Athletics took to their social media accounts to unveil three new uniform designs for the upcoming 2022 and 2023 season.

Each new Uniform contains a new number font on the chest and back of a player, along with new name fonts and three stars on the side of the pants. A Big 12 logo on the top right side of each jersey will be added for the 2023 season.

The biggest change was the third uniform design that is a black jersey with gold numbers and letters on the back with the new Knighthead logo on the sleeves with an anthracite gray print with gold eyes. This Jersey and pant combination will be known as the team’s Knightmode look.

While the design changes are not the major overall that fans have been asking for, (especially for the return of gold jerseys) this is because this change is under a two-year bridge deal with Nike. It is believed that drastic changes of the football uniforms will undergo an overhaul that will take place after UCF’s first year in the Big 12 conference in time for the 2024 season.

With the new uniform additions there will be 27 different uniform combinations between helmet, jersey, pants and space jerseys to try out for the team in the next two seasons of play.
