The EDM music festival, Imagine returns after a two-year hiatus and will be set in a new location next week from September 15-18.
After not taking place for the past two years, Imagine, one of the Southeast’s largest dance and music festivals will take place at Kingston Downs in Georgia.
Imagine Music Festival co-founders Glenn and Maddy Goodhand expressed their excitement for taking the festival to a new site.
“We are excited to share that Imagine Music Festival is moving to a brand-new location for the 2022 edition,” Maddy and Glenn Goodhand said. “The new site encompasses all the beauty of nature with sprawling grass fields and pastures, rolling hills, and untouched woodlands, and we cannot think of a better venue to welcome fans back to music than Imagine.”
After originally taking place at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Imagine’s new location will be located just outside Rome, Georgia and will have guest experiences such as the Aqua Day Club, amusement rides, cirque acts, lazy river tubing, expanded campgrounds, new stage designs, outdoor games and much more.
The headliners for the events will include notably billed artists such as, Excision, Kaskade, Griz and Illenium with special guest ZHU and special stage takeovers from labels Mau5trap, Wakaan, and Ophelia.
The festival music will start at 3 p.m. Fri-Sun.
There will also be pool parties held on Saturday featuring Kaskade and Sunday featuring Adventure Club from 12 p.m.-3 p.m.
In addition to the weekend’s music lineup, there will be a Thursday pre-party Ophelia Records takeover featuring Seven Lions starts at 7:45 p.m. to kick off the 2022 aqua dream festival.
