The UCFPD utilizes several tools, tactics, and animals to help its efforts to keep UCF safe. Luna, a UCFPD K-9, is an important part of this process. She works as an Investigative Therapy Dog helping adult and child victims of sexual assault.
Luna is now being recognized as a Top 10 finalist in America’s Favorite Pet competition. However, she still needs your vote for that #1 spot. If she wins, UCFPD’s K-9 fund will receive a $10K donation for equipment, supplies and other necessities for UCFPD working K-9s. She will also be featured on the cover of Modern Dog.
