UCFPD sent out an email at 1:20pm on Thursday informing students they have been made aware of a shooting threat circulating online.

A screen shot of the alleged threat email shows a manifesto PDF attachment, and the body of the email details a racially motivated attack directed towards African Americans on campus. Knight News has reviewed the email but is not republishing its disturbing content that UCF has deemed not credible.

The email sent by UCFPD states that at this time, they “do not consider the threat to be credible. All campus operations normal.”

UCFPD’s email then mentions that similar threats had also been reported at other universities in the country.

We have reached out to UCFPD and UCF for further comment, but we received the same information stated on their initial announcement.
