Orange County is offering free, confidential HIV testing at six different locations tomorrow, Saturday, June 27th, in honor of National HIV Testing Day.
The closest clinic to the UCF Main Campus is at 1920 Aloma Ave in Winter Park, Florida, with testing starting from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The following are the other locations that will be offering free confidential HIV testing tomorrow:
– 4300 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL (4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
– 2722 N. Pine Hills Rd, Orlando, FL (12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
– 7330 Clarcona Ocoee Rd, Orlando, FL (12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
– 125 E Main St, Apopka, FL (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
– 13316 Hartzog Rd, Winter Garden, FL (2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
This comes as part of Orange County’s participation in the federal initiative, Ending the HIV Epidemic. Orange County is participating in this five-year federal initiative to increase the proportion of people with HIV who are virally suppressed to 90%, increase the percentage of people with HIV who have received an HIV diagnosis to 90%, and ultimately reduce new HIV infections in Orange County to no more than 115 by the year 2030.
