Musical sensation Matisyahu will be performing at The Venue at UCF next Tuesday, November 2nd.
The world-renowned artist, known by his Hebrew name, has been acclaimed with revolutionizing music and the messages it can shed. Aside from his one-of-a-kind voice, he mixes reggae, beat-boxing, rock, and traditional Jewish themes in a way that sets him far apart from your typical musician. His album, Light, even includes some dancehall, ska, and pop-rock influences.
Rather than your average, chaotic and noisy concert, his performance at UCF will be more of a personal performance. The night will consist of several of beloved Matisyahu songs sung in a storyteller style.
Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show begins at 8:00 pm. Tickets are only $7 for UCF students, and general public tickets are $25.
Those who have never heard Matisyahu’s music are sure to enjoy this show just as much as life-long fans. This infrequent acoustic set by such a phenomenal musician will definitely be one to remember.
