The 63,000-square-foot apartment complex being built on University Boulevard has just locked deals with its first retail tenant.
Bento Cafe is the first retailer to ink a deal with Plaza on University, which will house more than 1,300 residents in a prime location right off of Alafaya Trail.
“The Bento Group is super excited!!” the restaurant said on its Twitter page after the news was announced.
According to the Orlando Business Journal, Bento Cafe plans to build out a 3,865-square-foot space with patio seating, and the developer expects to hand over the retail space to Bento Cafe in the spring.
Bento Cafe serves a variety of Asian cuisine, calling their restaurants a “unique way to serve authentic Asian food,” with a design that incorporates “an atmosphere that is fast and friendly while fun and stylish.”
