UCF has won the Ed Sheeran #EdOnCampus contest, Chegg announced on its website Monday.
Textbook rental website, Chegg, announced the #EdOnCampus contest in January. Schools competed by voting for the school that they wanted to win a concert by pop artist Ed Sheeran.
On top of a concert on campus by Ed Sheeran, Chegg will also grant $10,000 to the music department.
“Ed loves to interact with his current fans and reach new fans, and he is looking forward to spending time with the students at UCF,” said Louis Messina, Founder of The Messina Group in a release. “This has been a great partnership to help Ed reach and engage with students. It’s great that Ed is part of a project that puts students first and gives them opportunities to learn and gain unique experiences.”
The date of the concert is unannounced at this time.
