UCF students gathered outside of the student union Monday morning to sign a ‘UCF Stands With Paris’ banner to show support for France after the terrorist attacks.
Hosted by College Democrats at UCF, the event was held to raise awareness of the tragedy and start a campus conversation about international support.
Nikki Mariutto, president of College Democrats at UCF, said the organization plans to present the banner to Orlando’s Consulate of France on Thursday.
