XLIVE – Las Vegas, NV – Notable industry leaders within the festival and live event community convene at the nexus of music, film, culinary, beverage, eSports, and the latest technology during XLIVE 2016 – festival + “live event” convention & expo taking place this December 5 – 7. Already gaining global recognition for a diversified register of topics, the creators behind XLIVE now shine the spotlight on the specialty workshops being offered and lineup of speakers slated to share their expertise at this year’s event.

Diving deep to deliver a complete, immersive educational experience, XLIVE has incorporated a series of structured workshops into the three-day schedule; granting attendees singular access to the inner workings of fundamental business aspects in festival and live event execution. Lasting anywhere from 3.5 to 4 hours plus opportunities for networking with peers throughout the session, each of the pre-conference workshops will take place on Monday December 5th in conjunction with the start of week’s events.

Deriving valuable statistics from location to favorite music, data surrounding audiences that help a live event succeed may be pulled from a wealth of avenues. The Big Data and Analytics Workshop will examine how to analyze customer data and make that information actionable to help inform marketing strategies for future events. Among educators on the Big Data and Analytics Workshop this year are: Jeff Cuellar – VP Strategic Partnerships, AC Entertainment; Ben Wang – Director of Business Analytics, Arizona Coyotes; Greg Patterson – Director of Music & Live Events, Eventbrite; Kevin Safford – Director of Data Science, Umbel; Jeff Goodman – Director of Business Development, Green Copper.

Augmenting the workshop offerings, is M&A LIVE, the Festival Merger & Acquisition Workshop led by Scott Stedman – Founder, Northside Media Group; Allen Gibbons – Group CEO, IWSC Group; Michael Josephs – EVP Business Development & Mergers/Acquisitions, Townsquare Media; and Stephen Millard – President, Main Events International. M&A LIVE is the premier forum for live event owners and their capital sources and advisors to discuss the opportunities and challenges of dealmaking + acquisitions in the rapidly changing live event sector.

Tapping into the central nerve of successful live event operations, XLIVE 2016 will highlight IT infrastructure needed to handle the technological demands of artists and fans with consistent onsite support systems. Led by Greg Green, Director of Event IT, Backstage Networks, the XLIVE IT Infrastructure Workshop will feature an intimate senior-level forum that will bring together entertainment industry IT professionals, event technology providers, and production specialists for a comprehensive program of case studies, interactive roundtable discussions and informative panels with the goal of improving IT systems and structures for the year ahead.

Each workshop module will include participation by leading executives with specific expertise in the session topic; and each session is presented to encourage lively and informal interaction between panelists and audience members. For full details on the XLIVE 2016 Workshop Schedule, visit the website.
