A 20-year old UCF student and member of the IFC fraternity Zeta Beta Tau, Kevin Estrada, was arrested and is being charged with 10 counts of child pornography after an undercover online investigation, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.
In the report the agent stated that they were searching for “computers in the Central Florida area that were advertising files that contained images and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children.” After an undercover investigation that was launched in early September, the report stated, “the physical address of the computer was determined to be 12108 Darwin Drive.”
Agents of the FDLE entered the premises of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity house on December 1, 2016, where the agents stated that Estrada was home at the time.
“The defendant’s computer was previewed on-scene. It was located in his bedroom. Multiple files of child pornography were located on it,” the report said.
10 files were found on Estrada’s computer, with some of the files including images of children as young as six years old according to the report.
Estrada was the Captain of ZBT’s Knight-Thon team, which is a philanthropy event that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network.
Estrada faces 10 counts of possession of obscene material, all second-degree felonies.
