KnightNews.com has uncovered a way for hungry students on a budget to save $10 when ordering food at nine restaurants near UCF, but it’s only for a limited time.
CampusFood.com is giving away $10 towards food deliveries from the following restaurants: Domino’s Pizza, Juniors Pizza, Marco’s Pizza, Pappa John’s, Pizza Venice, Tenders, Silver Mine Subs and Pizzeria Valdiano.
To claim your food, visit http://campusfood.com/free and enter code: UCFFREEFD09 before the promotion expires on Sept. 20.
“The free food is a great opportunity, many of the incoming freshman will be looking at places to spend their money and with so many of them without a car, ordering food online is an good way to reach them,” said Mike Cucareese, owner of Silver Mine Subs, located on University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail.
Campusfood.com’s Market Developer, Mickey Katz, hopes the promotion will keep students coming back to the site.
“Thanks to technology, our daily lives are becoming more connected,” Katz said. “We should embrace these changes and use them to make our day to day easier.”
Katz says Campusfood.com has 12 years of experience in the online food business, and has processed 12 million orders.
“It’s all about convenience and bringing the customer what they really want when they want to have it,” Katz said. “The free food promotion is meant to do two things; help the local Orlando establishments get more customers and change the way people think about ordering food online.”
There are more than 46 restaurants ready for delivery or pickup in the UCF area, including “just about every type of cuisine from cookies to barbecue”, according to Katz.
