The ball won’t be dropping in Times Square for about another six months, but tonight at Roxy Night Club it will feel like it anyway.
As part of Roxy’s summer Thursday college nights, the club will throw a “Half Way to New Year’s” party tonight, July 22, complete with champagne, noise makers and a countdown to midnight.

The Thursday college night remains popular at UCF, especially because the club sends a bus right to the UCF area to bring students to the club.
“If you haven’t been to college night at Roxy, you’re missing out,” said UCF freshmen Christie Lewis. “Everyone in this club is dancing around 12:30 and the place is packed.”
Lewis says the $10 promotion – which includes a bus ride, cover and a VIP pass to the front of the line –are big reasons why so many UCF students head to Roxy for “great music and good looking people.”
Next Thursday, July 29 is set to be a big night. That’s when the “Sex Party” will be hosted by Roxy. The staff at Roxy will be handing out paddles and condoms to the crowd.
