A Facebook group has surfaced supporting UCF’s own Shanna Marie McLaughlin, Playboy’s Miss July 2010 who seems to be getting even more attention for being the cover girl for aXis Magazine.

UCF coach George O’Leary approved the seductive photo shoot, according to the Orlando Sentinel. UCF’s administration has apologized for the shoot, although McLaughlin doesn’t see the need for an apology and has criticized her critics.
“I think they need to get over it a little bit and just recognize that it’s great publicity for the school and for the football team,” McLaughlin said during a recent radio interview on Real Radio 104.1 FM.
