For all the Mixed Martial Arts fans, the UCF Arena will be hosting XFC 14 – “Resurrection” this Friday at 7 p.m.
The Extreme Fighting Championships is a MMA organization based out of Tampa that was founded in 2006.
The live event will feature seven different fights, including the headliner of Jamie Varner vs. Nate Jolly.
The other fights include Carmelo Marrero vs. Scott Barrett, Molly Helsel vs. Marianna Kheyfets, Josh Clark vs. Reggie Pena, Elijah Harshbargar vs. Nicolae Cury, Mike Bernhard vs. Mikey Gomez, and John Mahlow vs. Bruce Connors.
The prime time fight features Varner, a former WEC lightweight champion and Jolly, who is 2-0 in the XFC.
The event is very cheap for UCF students, who can show a student ID at the UCF Arena box office and get upper level general admission tickets for only $5.
